Simple Vegetrian Food



For the past few months, I have to be the chef at home as my MIL wasnt in town. Hence, everyday I have to surf the internet for new food receipe. Today is 15th day of 7th month, VEGETRIAN DAY. I have cooked

Dish One - Stir-fried Cabbage

Ingredients
Half a cabbage, washed and sliced or chopped into bite size
1 carrot, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon of vegetarian mushroom sauce (act as ‘oyster’ sauce)
1 packet enokitake aka golden needdle mushrooms, trimmed and cut away root edge
Pinch of salt and grounded white pepper to taste
⅓ small cup of water (or less)
1 tablespoon of vegetable oil

Method
1)Heat wok with oil over high heat. Add cabbage and carrot, and stir-fry for 1 minute.
2)Then, add mushrooms and water. Reduce heat to low - medium fire. Cover wok with lid, and simmer for 3 minutes, or
until carrot soften.
3)Then, add in salt and white pepper. Stir-fry for 1 minute. Add in mushroom sauce, and stir-fry for another 1
minute, before heat off. Serve.

Dish Two - Mock Lunchon Meat With Potato & Cucumber In Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
1 japanese cucumber, remove the seeds & cut into cubes
1 potato, remove skins & cut into cubes
1 cup of mock lunchon meat
3 tablespoon of tomato sauce
Pinch of salt and grounded white pepper to taste
⅓ small cup of water (or less)
1 tablespoon of vegetable oil

Method
1)Heat wok with oil over high heat. Add potato and mock lunchon meat, and pan-fry till the potato turn slighty
golden colour.
2)Add tomato sauce & water. Reduce heat to low - medium fire.
3)Then, add in salt and white pepper. Add in cucumber & stir-fry for 1 minute.Then heat off. Serve.
